About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Privacy Compliance Specialist to join our team at Dyson. As a key member of our Global Privacy Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with data protection laws and regulations across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on data protection laws and regulations to stakeholders across all of Dyson's business and operations.
- Act as the first point of contact for data protection-related matters escalated by stakeholders in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
- Support the Global Privacy Team's ongoing data protection compliance activities, including undertaking data protection assessments with stakeholders and delivering training.
- Proactively monitor and analyze evolving laws, rules, regulations, and guidance to help Dyson maintain compliance and strategic alignment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of experience in a legal or compliance-related role within a global company.
- A relevant degree qualification (e.g. in law or business).
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws, including the EU GDPR and local laws and regulations within the UK and other jurisdictions.
- Appropriate data protection-related qualifications (e.g. CIPM or CIPP/E).
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders regionally or globally.
- Strong ability in interpreting and applying legislation, advising on compliance requirements, and working with risk and governance frameworks, policies, or procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
