Job Summary:

Dyson is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Compliance and Ethics Specialist to join its Legal Compliance and Ethics function in the EMEA region. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's global compliance and ethics vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Legal Compliance and Ethics and the functional team to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve the company's compliance and ethics goals.
  • Build strong relationships with all functions across the EMEA region and at Group to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert and solution-focused advice across a range of compliance and ethics risk areas, helping the business to navigate complex issues and make informed decisions.
  • Contribute to the creation of policies, procedures, and guidance, as well as governance structures for their creation.
  • Develop and deliver compliance and ethics training programs, working closely with Dyson's Learning team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in compliance and ethics risk areas and ensure that the company's policies and procedures are aligned with best practices.
  • Manage external counsel where necessary, ensuring compliance with Dyson's cost management processes.
  • Travel within the EMEA region and to other regions as required.

Requirements:

  • Passion for compliance and ethics.
  • Good understanding of compliance and ethics risk areas.
  • Experience working within a global legal team.
  • Experience leading compliance and ethics investigations.
  • Excellent awareness of the role and position of a compliance and ethics function within a multi-national business.
  • Previous involvement with project and change management.
  • Experience creating policies, procedures, and guidance, and building governance structures for their creation.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following risk areas:
