Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Compliance and Ethics Counsel to join our team at Dyson GmbH. As a key member of our global Legal Compliance and Ethics function, you will play a critical role in supporting our business in the EMEA region.

About the Role
  1. Collaborate with our Head of Legal Compliance and Ethics to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve our compliance and ethics vision.
  2. Build strong relationships with functions across the EMEA region and at Group to provide expert advice and guidance on compliance and ethics risk areas.
  3. Provide solution-focused advice to help the business navigate complex issues and make informed decisions.
  4. Contribute to the creation of policies, procedures, and guidance, and governance structures for their creation.
  5. Develop and deliver compliance and ethics learning programs, working with our Learning team.
  6. Stay up-to-date with developments in compliance and ethics risk areas and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Manage external counsel where necessary, ensuring compliance with our cost management processes.
  8. Travel within the EMEA region and to other regions as required.
Requirements
  • Passion for legal compliance and ethics.
  • Good understanding of compliance and ethics risk areas.
  • Experience working within a global legal team.
  • Experience leading compliance and ethics investigations.
  • Excellent awareness of the role and position of a compliance and ethics function within a multi-national business.
  • Previous involvement with project and change management.
  • Experience creating policies, procedures, and guidance, and building governance structures for their creation.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following risk areas:
  • Anti-Bribery and Corruption
  • Competition/Anti-Trust
  • Sanctions and Trade Controls
  • Data Protection and Privacy
