Compliance and Risk Management Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Risk Management Lead to join our team at Dyson. As a key member of our Global Privacy Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with privacy regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on privacy compliance requirements to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Develop and implement privacy compliance policies, frameworks, and controls to ensure the company's data is collected and used legally, ethically, and responsibly.
  • Act as the first point of contact for privacy-related matters escalated by stakeholders in the EMEA region.
  • Drive the Global Privacy Team's ongoing privacy compliance activities within the region and across other corporate functions.
  • Monitor and analyze evolving laws, rules, regulations, and guidance to help Dyson maintain compliance and strategic alignment.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of previous privacy experience in a legal or compliance-related role within a global company.
  • Possess a relevant degree qualification (e.g. in law or business) and appropriate privacy-related qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, including the EU GDPR and local laws and regulations within the EMEA region.
  • Strong ability in interpreting and applying legislation, advising on compliance requirements, and working with risk and governance frameworks, policies, or procedures.
