Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff mmWave IC Design Engineer to join our global RF team at MediaTek. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mmWave ICs for 5G products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complete sub-systems for 5G mmWave ICs, including specification, architecture, circuit design, implementation, and verification.
  • Develop innovative architectures and circuits with leading-edge performance and excellent results on first silicon.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Masters' graduate or PhD in a closely related field, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience in mmWave IC design.
  • Proven track record of delivering CMOS mmWave transceivers to mass production.
  • Excellent knowledge of RF system analysis and specification.
  • Strong experience with 2.5D and 3D EM simulation tools.
  • Experience with optimization of mmWave circuit layout.
  • Experience with design in advanced CMOS technologies (28nm or below).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Cadence Analog Design Environment.
  • Good understanding of RF performance requirements for cellular systems.
  • Experience with mmWave IC testing.
  • Competent in data analysis using Matlab and/or Python.
