Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge processing equipment. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing electrical systems and components for our range of processing and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for processing and packaging equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain electrical CAD designs using AutoCAD and EPLAN
  • Work with mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
  • Provide technical expertise and support to ensure electrical systems meet performance and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Qualified to HNC/HND standard or above in an electrical engineering related subject
  • Proven experience in electrical design, preferably within the food / processing or packaging industry
  • Practical electrical wiring experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, PLCs, HMIs, and motor control
  • Knowledge of PLC hardware and software, including Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, and Siemens
  • Knowledge of industrial networking systems, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, RS282, RS485, etc.
