Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Specification and Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including M&E consultants, contractors, and merchant branches.
Key Responsibilities- Win specifications and track them through the pipeline to a successful conclusion
- Improve product mix and increase contribution levels
- Identify, validate, and prioritize profitable specification opportunities
- Share and gather pipeline opportunities with merchant partners
- Build strong collaborative relationships with other functional areas, including Logistics, Sales, and Operations
- Represent the brand at trade events and exhibitions
- Specification sales experience
- Successful sales track record in specification sectors
- Graduate or graduate calibre with technical knowledge of heating systems
- Independent and able to work from home
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work as a constructive team member
- Able to prospect qualitative leads and negotiate effectively
- Confident group presentation skills and ability to deal with questions
- Knowledge of heating systems and ability to calculate heat loss
