About the Role

Roku is seeking a highly skilled Product Director to lead the development of our Search experience. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering a world-class Search experience that meets the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a product roadmap for Search that aligns with Roku's overall business strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and analytics, to deliver high-quality Search features.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand user needs and preferences, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain detailed product requirement documentation, and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with the product vision.
  • Monitor and analyze Search performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the Search experience.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software product management, with a focus on Consumer Search or related data-driven products.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership in complex projects with ambiguity, trade-offs, and diverse and global teams.
  • Experience with content metadata, Search engine technologies, Search relevance, Machine learning/ AI, and AB testing/analysis at scale.
  • A passion for consumer experience, including concrete examples of delivering measurable increases in user engagement and driving revenue.
