About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Director to lead our Search experience at Roku. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the product roadmap for Search across all touchpoints, ensuring that our users have the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the product roadmap for Search, prioritizing features that drive user engagement and customer reviews.
  • Monitor consumer and business KPIs across Search performance and AB test dashboards to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technologies adhere to compliance, privacy, legal, and security requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed product requirement documentation and evangelize priorities as part of the Roku product planning process.
  • Partner with UX and research to build new UI/UX experiences for Search, identifying key pain points and driving a multi-year product vision to introduce next-generation capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering quality products, making trade-offs between user engagement and revenue, and building strong relationships across product, design, engineering, and partner management teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software product management, focusing on Consumer Search or Video or related data-driven products with large customer bases.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, interacting with product, business strategy, and engineering leaders at various levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership in complex projects with ambiguity, trade-offs, and diverse and global teams.
  • Experience with content metadata, Search engine technologies, Search relevance, Machine learning/AI, and AB testing/analysis at scale.
  • A passion for consumer experience, delivering measurable increases in user engagement and driving revenue.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
