About the Role
Roku is seeking a seasoned Product Director to lead the development of our Search experience, driving innovation and growth in this critical area of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a product roadmap for Search, prioritizing features and technologies that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, and Analytics, to deliver high-quality products that meet business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze consumer and business KPIs to inform product decisions and optimize Search performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and security requirements, communicating with partner management as necessary.
- Partner with UX and Research to identify key pain points and develop new UI/UX experiences for Search.
- Drive a multi-year product vision to introduce next-generation capabilities to Search experiences, leveraging technologies like Generative-AI/LLMs.
- Lead cross-functional teams in delivering quality products, making trade-offs between user engagement and revenue.
- Build strong relationships across product, design, engineering, and partner management teams to discover new growth areas for Search and collaborate on feature launches.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software product management, focusing on Consumer Search or related data-driven products with large customer bases.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, interacting with product, business strategy, and engineering leaders at various levels.
- Demonstrated leadership in complex projects with ambiguity, trade-offs, and diverse and global teams.
- Experience with content metadata, Search engine technologies, Search relevance, Machine learning/AI, and AB testing/analysis at scale.
- A passion for consumer experience, delivering measurable increases in user engagement and driving revenue.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working on a TV operating system is an asset.
