We are seeking a highly skilled Finance System Implementation Manager to lead the transition from our current finance system to a modern, efficient solution.

", "Key Responsibilities": "
  • Project Management: Develop and manage a business case for the new finance system, oversee the end-to-end implementation, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • System Selection: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and select the most suitable system, support the procurement process in line with our technology strategy.
  • System Implementation: Lead the integration, testing, and data migration processes, establish a new Chart of Accounts, and oversee the rollout of user interfaces for key finance processes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, tech, and other departments to understand and translate business requirements into system solutions, provide training and support to ensure successful adoption.
  • Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
  • Supplier Management: Manage vendor contracts and relationships to ensure high-quality delivery, oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshoot initial system issues.

  • Essential Experience: Proven experience in finance system implementation within a project management role, strong understanding of complex data structures and process mapping, proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Desired Experience: Experience in managing system interfaces using Microsoft 365 tools, familiarity with designing a Chart of Accounts, background in working with charitable organisations.
  • Essential Skills: Strong understanding of finance systems and processes, including business rules within an accounting environment.
  • Desired Skills: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
