Job Title: Vocational Assessor

This is a mobile working role that requires the assessor to manage their diary to include a combination of the following:

  • One day per week working from their home office, contacting employers and learners arranging site visits.
  • Four days per week conducting on-site assessment visits with employers and learners at various construction sites nationally.
  • Visit CITB/NCC training colleges at NCC East in Bircham Newton and NCC Scotland in Glasgow as and when required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing learners in a vocational setting, ensuring they meet the required standards for their chosen trade. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site assessments of learners in a vocational setting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and learners.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of assessments and learner progress.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in vocational assessment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
