About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Modeller / Commercial Manager to join our UK Transport Business as a key contributor to our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop winning commercial strategies for design and build projects and design frameworks in liaison with the Bid Director and Bid Manager.
  • Implement these strategies into financial models, taking account of project risks and company commercial expectations.
  • Present commercial strategies through the organisation's governance process, helping gain approval from senior stakeholders.
  • Manage financial risk and opportunity across the business through both the bidding and project delivery phase.
  • Work with project managers and directors to manage commercial risk and opportunities at a project level.
  • Advise teams on commercial contractual issues as and when the need arises.
About You

We are looking for an individual with experience of bidding for engineering design services on design and build projects as the contractor's designer.

A strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract, particularly being comfortable working with contracts that include the NEC Schedule of Cost Components, is essential.

This role offers a great opportunity for a bid modeller / commercial manager to develop their skills and experience working on a wide variety of bids, including frameworks and major design projects across multiple transport teams.
