We are seeking a skilled M&E Estimator to play a key role in delivering high-quality technical proposals to both existing and new clients. As the M&E Estimator, you will be responsible for leading the entire estimation process from cost modelling and margin assessment to bid pricing and client presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:Work closely with clients to understand their needs and craft bespoke solutions that deliver the results they seek.
- Cost Modelling & Risk Analysis:Develop accurate pricing models and identify any commercial or technical risks associated with proposals.
- Proposal Management:Oversee the entire tender process, ensuring accurate, competitive, and market-leading submissions.
- Collaboration:Build strong relationships with internal teams, including operations, to ensure a seamless handover from estimation to execution.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in preparing cost estimates and proposals within the M&E industry.
- Thorough understanding of industry standards such as SFG20, HVCA, CIBSE, and BICS.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial modelling.
- An organized, methodical approach with strong analytical skills, particularly in data analysis and risk assessment.
- Proven ability to build long-lasting client relationships and ensure bid profitability.
