Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Catch22 as a Wellbeing Practitioner, working in the Wiltshire area to support adult male ex-offenders. Our service is commissioned by HMPPS and focuses on delivering interventions across various pathways to promote positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support service users to develop strategies to manage emotions and deliver skills training to foster self-confidence.
  • Help service users increase capacity to undertake activities that support daily living and advocate for them in conjunction with multi-agency partners.
  • Work in close partnership with delivery partners, HMPPS, Voluntary Sector, and other Criminal Justice organisations to promote and deliver our services.

Requirements:

  • Driving License and Access to a vehicle.
  • Good basic education, including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continual professional development.
  • Good IT Skills and experience working with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and other IT applications.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Qualifications relevant to rehabilitation of offenders, such as criminology, criminal justice, social care, mental health, IAG, Family Services, Emotional Wellbeing, or Social Inclusion.
