About the Role

We are seeking an experienced mental health support worker to join our team at ABL Health Ltd. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people, working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people, including individual and group work.
  • Undertake professional initial assessments of young people and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement alternative therapeutic approaches, including peer support interventions.
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to young people and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case notes and records, using our specified case management systems.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to assess and manage risks, including child protection and safeguarding concerns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with children and young people of different ages and backgrounds.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of child and adolescent mental health clinical evidence-based practice and support for parents/carers.
