Position Overview:
The Clinical Operations Matron will deliver exceptional clinical, managerial, and professional guidance to nursing personnel across various levels within their designated area. The aim is to ensure that nursing care meets the highest standards while effectively managing nursing resources.


Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Matron to advance the nursing and midwifery strategy.
- Execute essential Matron functions, focusing on achieving and monitoring quality and clinical performance metrics.
- Ensure that all service delivery aspects are informed by patient and service user experiences.


Service Development:
The Matron will play a crucial role in the enhancement of services, supporting the establishment and maintenance of robust governance frameworks. The focus will remain on delivering nursing care that prioritizes dignity and compassion.


Team Leadership:
The post holder will oversee departmental nursing staff, dedicating at least 20% of their time to clinical practice.
