Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team at PHS Group. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing expert support and guidance to our operations division, ensuring that our HR services are of the highest quality and aligned with our company values and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, robust, practical, and timely advice and support to colleagues and line managers on a range of human resource issues, including employee relations, communication, discipline, grievance, performance, and change management.
  • Drive the People strategy, focusing on Hygiene Operations, to improve performance within a geographical area through our people.
  • Engage our depot teams and implement HR strategy, underpinned by PHS values.
  • Champion and encourage effective communication regarding all aspects of performance management.
  • Ensure the company's probationary and performance review processes are followed, with the appropriate action taken when necessary.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to both managers and colleagues where the company's disciplinary or grievance policies are invoked.
  • Carry out exit interviews and capture data.
  • Local or company-wide inductions are held.
  • Work to continually improve the performance of PHS through driving colleague engagement and performance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or qualification within Human Resources.
  • Experience of working in the HR team of a busy multi-site sales/service organisation.
  • The ability to identify and deliver commercially focused HR solutions that underpin high colleague engagement and business performance.
  • Able to proactively support performance and change management initiatives and issues.
