Position: Digital Solutions Sales Executive

Objective:

The Digital Energy division is responsible for defining, creating, and executing digitized offerings and services tailored for the Building sector. Within this division, the Building Enterprise Solutions Team is dedicated to expanding our Digital Energy portfolio with both new and existing Enterprise clients, primarily focusing on Fortune 1000 companies and strategic accounts. As a vital member of this team, you will report to the Senior Director of Building Enterprise Solutions and collaborate closely with a global network that includes Segment leaders, Strategic account executives, Business Developers, Category Offer Managers, and Country leaders.

Key Duties:
  • Promoting and facilitating the adoption of Digital Building Enterprise Software, including Planon solutions, to our key segments and Enterprise end-user clients.
  • Engaging with end-users within both new and existing Schneider Electric accounts.
  • Crafting a robust financial business plan when presenting and finalizing opportunities.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business prospects through proactive outreach and lead generation efforts.
  • Formulating a strategic plan to enhance business growth by pinpointing target customers/segments with the highest potential.
  • Overseeing the commercial team and associated resources.
  • Leading sales, commercial, presales, and solutions initiatives within the team, focusing on clear objectives and defined outcomes.
  • Creating a 30/60/90-day action plan alongside a long-term market strategy for offer growth and competitive positioning.
  • Facilitating effective commercial engagement to tailor specific offerings to meet customer needs.

  • Proficient in consultative selling with a strong background in software digital sales and SaaS models.
  • Client-focused with exceptional listening skills.
  • A proactive sales hunter rather than a farmer.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Motivated, accountable, and proactive in approach.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and frequently changing environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative spirit.
Required Skills and Attributes:
  • Extensive experience in business development, sales, or account management roles, specifically in selling software/digital/technology solutions.
  • Strong background in selling SaaS/Cloud solutions.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding into new markets.
  • Solid understanding of the IWMS and enterprise software landscape, with the ability to effectively communicate its value proposition to potential clients.
  • Passionate about Cloud, IoT/edge, Big Data, Digital Twin, AI, Predictive/Prescriptive Analytics, Smart Building solutions, and emerging enterprise technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospective clients.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and implement successful sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • A self-starter, capable of nurturing new/existing client engagements throughout the entire sales cycle with an ambitious and proactive mindset, coupled with a passion for driving sales and exceeding targets.
