Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Caridon Young Living, a leading provider of supported housing services for young people in South London and Surrey.

About the Role:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of our services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of housing services for young adults in need of supported accommodation and floating support.
  • Lead a team of staff to ensure the smooth operation of our services, including Team Leaders and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and national standards in supported accommodation.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our young people.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 5 NVQ in Management with young people or equivalent.
  • Experience in working within the relevant health and social care setting.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a children's setting.
  • Commitment to enhancing knowledge in current legislation around child protection and safeguarding.
  • Knowledge of Children's Rights and advocacy procedures.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable children, including those with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Conditions, and Challenging Behaviour.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with some weekend and evening work as required. The post holder will also be required to work weekends as part of a rota and Bank Holidays when required.

Location:

Our services are based in various locations across South London and Surrey, with the Head Office located in Croydon.
