GSL Education - Yorkshire is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Support Assistant to join our team, working within a specialized educational environment.

As a Special Needs Support Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with educators and support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with diverse requirements.

Your key duties will encompass:

1. Assisting in the development and execution of personalized Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
2. Supporting classroom management and preparing educational resources.

Essential qualifications and skills include:
Prior experience working with children with special educational needs is highly advantageous.
Relevant certifications in education or childcare are preferred.

Applicants should possess an updated CV detailing their professional history over the last decade, excluding any unexplained gaps, along with an enhanced DBS registered with the update service (or be willing to apply for one).

A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
