Job Description

**Special Needs Teaching Assistant Wanted**

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs, providing individualized attention and care to ensure their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique requirements.
  • Assist teachers in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students with special needs are fully integrated into the classroom environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement, motivation, and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant field, such as special education or teaching assistance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
