Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role in Nottingham

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in a special needs school in Nottingham. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs and working closely with the classroom teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with special educational needs in a classroom setting
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver lessons
  • Assist with assessments and monitoring of pupil progress
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with special needs
  • Collaborate with other teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process one
