Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Precedo Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Hyde and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who can provide high-quality support and care to children with complex needs, including Autism, developmental delays, physical disabilities, and emotional challenges. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting children in their daily activities, both within the service and in the community.
  • Encouraging and empowering children to develop their skills and independence.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support.
  • De-escalating challenging situations and providing emotional support to children and families.
  • Assisting with personal care needs and promoting a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by children with complex needs.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • A commitment to providing person-centered care and support.
