Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Precedo Healthcare.

About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and encouraging children in our care to thrive in their daily lives. You will work closely with our team to provide a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the children's physical, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and encourage children in day-to-day activities, both within the service and in the community.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Assist with personal care needs, including hygiene and medication management.
  • De-escalate challenging situations and provide emotional support to children.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a safe and engaging environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of conditions such as Autism, developmental delays, physical disabilities, and their emotional effects on children and families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days and nights.
