Job Opportunity: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Precedo Healthcare Services.

About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and encouraging children in their daily activities, both within our residential services and in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication and Support: Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, colleagues, and families.
  • Understanding and Empathy: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of conditions such as Autism, developmental delays, physical disabilities, and their emotional effects on children and families.
  • De-escalation and Crisis Management: Successfully de-escalate challenging situations and provide a safe and supportive environment for children.
  • Personal Care and Support: Assist children with their personal care needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
