Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to join our team at Selfridges. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the department, including sales, customer service, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Work closely with the concession manager to support and develop the concession business within the department.
- Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing stock loss.
- Act upon feedback from across the business to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
