Department Manager

Moncler Spa is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join one of our London Department Stores.
As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and managing the daily operations of the store. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the Moncler Sales and Service standards are consistently met.
- Provide motivation and leadership to the sales team, setting a positive example at all times.
- Recruit, interview, and hire a team of sales associates who will drive store sales and deliver an elevated level of service, building customer loyalty and developing new customers.
- Drive store sales and productivity through key performance indicator (KPI) management, including store sales, units per transaction (UPT), conversion, productivity, and inventory management.
- Manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency and protection of company assets through schedule management, inventory management, cash management, shipping and receiving, adhering to business needs and company policies and procedures.
- Analyze sales reports and work closely with regional partners to strategically drive and grow business.
- Effectively coach and ensure all store staff complies with company initiatives, including training and selling programs, customer experience management (CEM), and customer relationship management (CRM).
- Develop the team to ensure individual growth, employee engagement, and career pathing for future leaders, using consistent communication, including one-to-one touch-bases, team meetings, management meetings, and individual development plans.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Understand and proactively respond to the competitive environment, trends, and identify future opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience.
- Prior experience in luxury retail.
- Proven track record of successful sales generation, building clientele, and employee development and relations.
- Proficient computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Possess strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and analyze sales reports and perform fundamental calculations.
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
