About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Department Manager to lead our Decor Department at B&Q New Malden. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Department Manager, you'll be accountable for:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Leading a team of sales advisors to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Managing department budgets and inventory to optimize sales and minimize waste
  • Collaborating with other departments to drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives
  • Identifying and addressing customer complaints and feedback to improve overall customer satisfaction

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in a sales or management role, preferably in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions to drive business growth
  • Strong customer service skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
