About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team as an Associate Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to work in a dynamic and established service, providing care for women with personality disorders and mental illness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, including collateral histories and physical health checks, to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working collaboratively with patients, families, and external professionals to ensure seamless transitions to community care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team, ensuring high-quality care and contributing to service development through participation in Clinical Governance activities, quality initiatives, audits, research, and teaching.
- Work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care and support for patients.
Requirements
- Full GMC Registration
- Experience working in psychiatry within multi-disciplinary teams
- Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
- Recent appraisal/RITA
- At least 3 years' experience in Psychiatry
- Experience working as a doctor within a similar environment
- Section 12(2) approval desirable
