About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at Spring Wood Lodge as an Associate Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and established service where you will provide care for women with personality disorders and mental illness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care and treatment
  • Develop and implement care plans to support patients in achieving their goals
  • Collaborate with external professionals and services to ensure seamless transitions to the community
  • Contribute to the development of the service through participation in Clinical Governance activities, quality initiatives, audits, research, and teaching

Requirements

  • Full GMC Registration
  • Experience in working in psychiatry within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • Recent appraisal/RITA
  • At least 3 years' experience in Psychiatry
  • Experience working as a doctor within a similar environment
  • Section 12(2) approval desirable
