About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Innova Search. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing cash and working capital across our global group, liaising with banks and lenders, and overseeing the consolidation of fortnightly forecasts across multiple global sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting and Analysis:
    • Own and manage the fortnightly bottom-up forecasting process for P&L and Treasury, consolidating inputs from all sites and conducting detailed analytical reviews.
    • Analyse and investigate cash flow trends, exceptions, and variances from prior forecasts, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational performance.
    • Prepare and present succinct executive summaries to the group finance team.
  • Relationship and Performance Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with site financial leaders, fostering trust and open communication to gain accurate insights.
    • Monitor site performance, flagging discrepancies or concerns, and collaborating with site leaders to develop and implement solutions.
    • Liaise with banks and lenders, manage operational banking facilities, bond and guarantee facilities, and internal funding arrangements.
  • Credit and Treasury Management:
    • Evaluate and negotiate credit facilities to ensure their structure, sizing, and terms meet the group's needs.
    • Manage the group's cash usage and funding, working with suppliers and arranging FX contracts when appropriate.
    • Develop sophisticated cash pooling processes, formal hedging strategies, and manage intercompany relationships and settlements.
  • Continuous Improvement and Development:
    • Drive continuous improvement programs to enhance individual and group processes.
    • Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets and reporting.
    • Handle ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.
    Requirements
    • Proven experience in financial analysis, particularly in cash flow management and forecasting in a multi-site business.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data into clear, actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering concise summaries to executive leadership.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with site financial leaders.
    • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
    • Preferred: CIMA/ACA/ACCA
