About Our Company

Page Personnel Sales is working with a leading manufacturer based in the UK looking for a Management Accountant to join an established finance team in a successful and growing company. This role is responsible for accounting tasks and financial management, as well as providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes.

Job Responsibilities

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and analysing monthly and weekly management accounts and financial statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities to support business growth and development.
  • Identifying trends and areas for improvement to optimize financial performance.
  • Performing financial analysis and reporting to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and implementing internal controls and procedures to maintain financial integrity.
  • Liaising with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Attending meetings and presenting to senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Participating in special projects as required to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Part-qualified or QBE Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or relevant finance degree.
  • Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
