We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Newly Qualified Accountant to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including variance analysis and trend identification.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide analytical support.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Ensure entities remain up to date and compliant with relevant legislation, including the latest accounting standards and VAT.
  • Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of new financial systems.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:

  • Support process improvement projects and best practice working with subject matter experts as needed.
  • Support the annual external statutory audit and drive the evolution of a more controls-based audit approach.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified.
  • Strong Excel and IT skills are essential.
