CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Assistant Contract Manager to join a well-established and respected facilities maintenance company in Central London.

This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside an experienced contract manager, contributing to the smooth operation of various commercial maintenance contracts. You will play a vital role in ensuring that buildings are maintained to the highest standards and that the engineering team performs at its best.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing directly employed staff on the contracts.
  • Monitor and manage agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards across all sites.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality procedures on site.
  • Manage the recruitment process for any new staff required on the contracts.
  • Develop and support the professional growth of all staff members, including conducting annual appraisals.
  • Address staff absenteeism and handle disciplinary issues within the site team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through daily communication and collaboration.
  • Manage project budgets and financial performance (P&L) for each contract.
Requirements
  • Hold a recognized electrical or mechanical qualification, such as C&G, HNC, or HND.
  • Possess a strong understanding of technical engineering principles.
  • Have basic financial acumen, including knowledge of P&L and budgets (training will be provided).
  • Demonstrate experience in supervising staff effectively.
  • Have experience delivering services in high-profile financial office environments.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Be able to manage and prioritize a demanding workload efficiently.
