Social Enterprise Programme Coordinator

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday with on-call responsibilities.

About Us: Booth House, a Lifehouse operated by The Salvation Army, offers 50 en-suite accommodations for individuals over 18 facing homelessness. Our two social enterprises, The Sandwich People and Recycles, are seeking a skilled Programme Manager to enhance our internal team.
Role Overview: As a proactive and enthusiastic Programme Manager, you will be tasked with creating and implementing high-quality services for our social enterprise clientele. You will work closely with individuals who may have additional challenges, such as mental health issues or substance dependencies. Your role will also involve engaging our residents, encouraging them to participate in the service and take on volunteer roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a commitment to empowering individuals to achieve positive transformations in their lives.
- Exhibit confidence in both independent and collaborative work settings.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including professionals and the public, while being sensitive to the needs of volunteers who are experiencing homelessness.
- Manage regular daytime operations, while also being available for on-call duties that may require evening or weekend support in urgent situations.
- Possess a valid driving license, as it is essential for this role.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will showcase:
- Strong communication and IT proficiency.
- Experience in the homelessness sector.
- Background in retail, catering, or cycling.
