Are you an ambitious and enthusiastic individual looking to join a growing and successful insurance team as a Commercial Motor Claims Handler?

As a Commercial Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for dealing with phone calls and post advising of claims, managing FNOL, maintaining diaries and reports, and ensuring compliance with our standards and regulations.

You will work closely with the Claims Manager to ensure that all issues or complaints are addressed, and that full compliance with our standards is maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with phone calls and post advising of claims.
  • FNOL management - ensuring all new claims are monitored and handled.
  • Diary and report maintenance.
  • Matching of all post/diary entries.
  • Ensuring that the Claims Manager is fully aware of all issues or complaints.
  • Ensuring that full compliance of our standards is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Ensure all records and communications with clients are accurately recorded and filed in the correct manner.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance and the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years commercial motor claims experience.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Good negotiation and broking skills.
