We have an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter to join our vibrant and busy Motor Trade team based in Croydon. p>As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting and generating renewal terms, ensuring they are presented to account executives in a timely manner while achieving the necessary rate increases that insurers require. You will also deal with account executive and colleagues' queries by phone and email within agreed authority limits. p>Our ideal candidate will have previous general insurance underwriting experience, ideally including motor trade and commercial, with a good working knowledge of all classes of business. You will be able to understand and implement 'best practice' in customer service, compliance systems and processes, and financial management. p>As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work under pressure, adapt, and be flexible in approach.
