Job Title: Transport Compliance Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Compliance Supervisor to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our transport operations are compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver qualifications, and other compliance-related data.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve compliance and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with the transport team to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to drivers on compliance-related matters.
- Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport operations and compliance.
- Excellent understanding of DVSA regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
