We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Compliance Supervisor to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our transport operations are compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the transport team to ensure that all vehicles and drivers are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to drivers and other staff members on compliance procedures and regulations.
- Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on changing regulations and standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport operations and compliance.
- Excellent understanding of DVSA regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with external and internal stakeholders.
- Strong strategic focus and continuous improvement experience.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Working to deadlines.
- Solution driven and Flexible approach to your work.
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
What We Offer:
- Salary for Transport Compliance Supervisor is between £30,000pa - £33,000pa, depending on experience.
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:30hrs – 17:00hrs.
