Job Title: Transport Compliance Supervisor

Gregory Distribution is seeking a highly skilled Transport Compliance Supervisor to join our team at our Shepton Mallet site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with transport, driver, and MHE regulations and processes.
  • Plan and coordinate vehicle servicing and repair schedules.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide reports to the Transport Manager.
  • Monitor and update internal vehicle and driver compliance systems.
  • Work with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure operational compliance.
  • Produce and maintain KPI reports related to transport, driver, and MHE compliance.
  • Provide driver training and support.
  • Liaise with the vehicle asset planner and report on vehicle servicing requirements.
  • Oversee compliance and Health & Safety issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in transport operations and compliance.
  • Excellent understanding of DVSA regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong strategic focus and continuous improvement experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
