Clinical Research Delivery Nurse in Women's Health

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Adult Nurse to join our Research Development and Innovation Department at East Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust. As a Clinical Research Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting research studies primarily in Gynaecology/Women's Health.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that clinical trials and research studies are undertaken following Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines and as per Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP). The post holder will be required to support all aspects of a study protocol, with supervision and agreed competencies, assist study lead nurse and members of the multidisciplinary team in delivering agreed protocols to time and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and support women and families throughout their research journey
  • Liaise with the Gynaecology department of the Family Care Division
  • Ensure accurate data collection for our patients
  • Establish new NIHR studies within our Trust
Person Specification
  • Registered Adult Nurse with current valid NMC registration
  • Educated to post-graduate diploma in health/biological sciences or equivalent experience
  • Mentorship qualification or equivalent
  • International Conference on Harmonisation, Good Clinical Practice Training up to date
