About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Hospice Receptionist/Administrator at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the hospice team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Manage patient records, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to data protection policies.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and carers to ensure effective communication and care planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and community services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse with a recognized post-registration qualification in cancer nursing.
  • Master's level qualification in non-medical prescribing and advanced assessment skills.
  • Advanced communication skills training and experience in staff/team management.
  • Knowledge of cancer waiting time initiatives and their implications for care pathways.
  • Knowledge of cancer care pathways and experience in a Cancer CNS role at Band 7 or above in Acute Oncology.

Desirable Criteria

  • Masters in advanced practice or working towards.
