Position Overview:
A full-time opportunity is available for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to oversee a dedicated team providing personalized care and assistance to a remarkable young individual with intricate medical and care requirements.

Compensation:
Competitive pay structure with rates of £37.00 for weekends and an annual salary of £65,520.

Role Requirements:
This position is open exclusively to female candidates.

Work Schedule:
36 hours per week, consisting of two 12-hour shifts and an additional 12 hours allocated for administrative and leadership responsibilities.

Client Environment:
Winnie, a vibrant 17-year-old, possesses a delightful personality and enjoys activities such as hair and nail care. She has specific medical needs including Cerebral Palsy (GMFCS Level 5), scoliosis, and Dystonia, requiring comprehensive support.

Care Team Structure:
Winnie requires 2:1 support around the clock to address her health and care needs. The care team will be assembled in collaboration with her case manager, including a deputy team leader to assist in management.

Key Responsibilities:
The RGN Team Leader will be tasked with:

  • Managing and guiding a large care team while promoting a nurturing environment.
  • Ensuring that all elements of the care plan are consistently reviewed and implemented.
  • Handling administrative duties such as updating care plans, conducting staff training, and overseeing team meetings.
  • Coordinating medical and therapy appointments, managing staff schedules, and addressing leave and coverage needs.

Travel Opportunities:
The RGN Team Leader may have the opportunity to accompany the client on trips, both domestically and internationally.
