Senior Automation/Robotics Engineer

Peacock Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation/Robotics Engineer to join our research and development team. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to improve food sustainability and animal welfare in the dairy industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development process, from requirements capture to onsite commissioning and testing.
  • Take ownership of robotic and automation projects, including design, testing, and implementation.
  • Lead automation and robotic design projects, including producing specifications, plans, and cost analysis.
  • Develop the skills of other team members and liaise with customers and suppliers throughout the project cycle.
Requirements:
  • A higher education qualification in a relevant field and more than 3 years' experience in a related role in industry.
  • Expertise in programming PLCs to an advanced level, producing high-quality, well-formatted programs.
  • A high level of technical knowledge and the ability to apply it to practical problems.
  • Experience with Kuka robotic systems, Beckhoff and/or Omron PLCs, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
