About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Ledger and Credit Controller Supervisor to join our Finance department for a 6 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage transactions processing and credit control for one of our subsidiaries.
  • Lead credit control and systems administration pertaining to Ledgers.
  • Deal with general administration and supervise the work of the Sales ledger/Credit Controllers.
Requirements:
  • 5 GCSE's (including English & Maths), AAT, Part qualified ACCA / Degree or any other similar qualification.
  • Experience in staff supervision and management of a medium sized team.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of computerised accounting packages, ideally, Access Dimensions; databases and MS Office Applications particularly Excel to intermediate level.
  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping double entry system and account reconciliation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Have supervisory skills to be able to manage a staff team.
