Provides safeguarding and protection for children within Northampton and Wellingborough.

Implement current legislation and policies effectively to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.

Collaborate with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive care and protection plans.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interventions and assessments.

Continuously develop professional skills through post-qualification learning and development opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Education: CQSW/CSS DipSW/Degree in Social Work Home Office letter of Recognition or equivalent.
  • Clearance: Satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service clearance.
  • Registration: HCPC registration.
  • At least three years post-qualifying experience if undertaking role within Adoption Services.

Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration. Minimum one year post-qualification experience. Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills. Excellent record-keeping and report-writing abilities. Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage a complex workload.
