Position Overview

We are seeking a Fraud Oversight Manager to join our Second Line function, working closely with the Head of Fraud Risk to oversee and mitigate the Bank's exposure to fraud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fraud assurance tools to evaluate the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures and operational performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and supervise the execution of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Document findings from reviews in formal reports and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders across the organization.
  • Proactively manage risks to ensure compliance with upcoming regulatory and legislative changes.
  • Collaborate with various teams to uphold best practices in fraud prevention.
  • Analyze data metrics, trends, and patterns to identify common issues and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Regularly assess adherence to best practice codes and regulations, including the Contingent Reimbursement Model and Mandatory Reimbursement.
  • Design and deliver training sessions for colleagues on fraud prevention practices.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Fraud or Financial Crime role or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Inquisitive mindset with the capability to analyze data, comprehend complex issues, and propose viable solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and present findings clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Adaptable and open to change, demonstrating a positive attitude.
