Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with individuals, their families, and our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored support plans
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and our team to implement and review support plans
  • Provide high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with complex needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the evaluation of support plans

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Positive Behaviour Support or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
