Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Home From Home Care Limited.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with complex learning disabilities, providing high-quality support and care in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive functional behaviour assessments and positive behaviour support plans
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and other stakeholders to identify and achieve goals and aspirations
  • Utilise data to inform clinical and operational decision-making
  • Coach and mentor support teams in adopting new support practices and enhancing existing ones
  • Review procedural fidelity and support practices across locations
  • Deliver post-event debriefs to explore potential learning outcomes and support wellbeing
  • Create relevant reports and documentation to an exceptional standard
Requirements
  • Relevant postgraduate studies, such as an MSc in Positive Behaviour Support or Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • Previous experience working with adult residential support services and developing functional behaviour assessments and positive behaviour support plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of recognised best practice and clinical models for enhancing and measuring quality of life outcomes
  • Able to use and manage large amounts of quantitative, qualitative, and anecdotal information to write reports and relevant documentation for a wide audience of key stakeholders
